Well it looks like the summer has finally arrived but lets not forget about our pets in this heat. If pets are exposed to too much sun it can cause heatstroke and delicate areas such as the nose or ears can become sunburnt.

A couple of tips to help your pets stay cool are:

1.Never leave pets in cars, not even for just a few minutes with windows open as temperatures ...

One of the exercise yards down at the kennels is covered with rubble and stones, our aim is within the next week or so to clear this, get some top soil down - around 20 tonne, this has been sorted out for us by James at DTS Enviromental, Carlton, - Thank you James, who's Boss is a very nice man and has donated this to BARC - FREE OF CHARGE!! Hello everyone, we have another dog show coming up at Conisbrough Gala on Saturday 18th July.

We had a lovely time at the last show not many BARC entrants, Sarah the rehomer won !st prize in the happiest dog section and I have never seen a happier owner.
